2.France – Yugoslavia 5:4, 1960.

2.Spain – Yugoslavia 4-3, 2000.
On the match between Spain and Yugoslavia occurred one of the biggest comebacks in the history of football. Ahead of the final round of Group C, Yugoslavia was a leading team with 4 points, Spaniards and Norwegians had a point less, while the Slovenes were the last one in the group with only one point.
After half an hour of the game, Savo Milosevic scored and brought Yugoslavia into a lead, but by the end of the first part of the game Alfonso Perez tied up. Five minutes in the second half of the game ,Yugoslavia again took the lead,when Dejan Govedarica shooked the net of Santiago Canizares.
A minute later, Pedro Munitis scored a goal for 2-2. In 75th minutes Slobodan Komljenovic with his goal pushed Spaniards to the brink of relegation. Minutes passed, and the coach of Spain Jose Antonio Camacho started largely to thought of resigning.
It was played the 93rd minutes when French referee Gilles Veissiere awarded a penalty kick for Spain. Gaizka Mendieta took the ball and coldly from 11 meters equal to 3:3.
Spain did not stopped on that,and in the sixth minute of the injury time,from a volley Perez scored his second goal of the match.Placement in the quarterfinals fought Spain and Yugoslavia since Norway has not managed to beat Slovenia.
1.France – Portugal 3-2, 1984.
The French in Euro semifinals where they were hosts played against Portugal. The match started well for the Tricolore, Jean-Francois Domergue scored in the 24th minute.
However, 15 minutes before the end Rui Jordao equalized and took the match into extratime.
After eight minutes of the game in extratime Jordao scored his second goal of the match and it seemed that the French will once again stuck on the one step up to finals as at the World Championships two years earlier against West Germany.
Then the French lead in extratime with 3-1, but they managed to lose the match after a penalty shootout.
However, defender Domerque scored his second goal of his career in the French jersey, and then Michel Platini in the 120th minute of the game scored for placement in the final in which France defeated Spain 2-0 and won their first title on the big competitions.
Interestingly, France,24 years later has won the first world title on the home ground again. In the semifinals against Croatian Lilian Thuram, like Domerque with only two goals for the national team turned the game and led his team to the finals where they crashed Brazil with 3-0 with.
