The first day of the European Championships had to satisfy all lovers of good football and the tense matches. Russia in the evening game on the fantastic, but not perfect, performance, broked the Czech Republic beating them with 4:1.In their Group A, match played earlier between Poland and Greece, ended with 1:1.

The hero of this match which was  played  on the stadium Miejski in Wroclaw was CSKA Moscow midfielder Alan Dzagoev with two scored goals , while one added Roman Shirokov and “wild card” from the bench Roman Pavlyuchenko. Vaclav Pila scored the only goal for the Czechs .

The Czechs were not helpless, they repeatedly laid siege to the Russian goal, but in the end can be happy as they did not concede few more goals.

For the Russians this was 15 match in a row without defeat. After the first round they are marked as a clear group favorite, and the only question is how far they can go.

To repeat the 2008th will not be easy, but not impossible, because unlike many European teams, at least they had no any problems with injuries and absences. If this continues, by shown games, Russians may be imposed as a serious contender for the finals.
