The teenage sensation from Croatian Club, Hajduk Split, the 18-year-old Mario Pasalic is set to sign for the London Club. Yesterday, Pasalic was on the verge of signing a deal with Italian club, Lazio, but the deal fall trough. Another Italian club, AC Milan was interested in landing the teenage sensation from Hajduk, but Chelsea FC reacted and captured the Croatian youngster.

The wonderkid, Mario Pasalic, has established himself within Hajduk’s first line-up and has represented Croatia at U16, U17 and U19 level. Given his recent impressive form, and two goals against the 7-times in a row Croatian champion, Dinamo Zagreb, Pasalic is being tipped to be included for the Croatia national team in their World Cup squad.

Pasalic’s recent form alerted Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho who is very active this transfer window, to make a move for the player right now, knowing that Pasalic’s price can go only higher with time.

“An agreement was reached between Hajduk Split and Chelsea FC . Hajduk will get two million euros, while the annual salary of Pasalic will be 240,000 euros. Pasalic has signed a four-year contract with Chelsea. The 18-year-old Mario Pasalic will remain on loan until the summer as a member of Hajduk Split, while after summer, Pasalic probably will join one of the Chelsea’s affiliate clubs in Holland.
