Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea FC have completed signing of the Spaniard, from Barcelona Cesc Fabregas in a £30m deal !

Fabregas who joined Arsenal from Barcelona, then re-joined a few years later Barcelona (2011), now decided to go back to the Premier league. Fabregas has signed a five years deal with the Blues, and will be earning arround £150k a week, while Arsenal are set to receive an immediate payment of £5.6m as in Cesc’s contract was placed a clause when he moved from the Emirates to Barca.

Fabregas who currently is in Brazil with Spain, scored last season eight goals in La Liga goals and provided a 19 assists in 36 appearances. Cesc thanked Barcelona after sealing his move to Stamford Bridge and told the club’s official website: “Firstly I would like to thank everyone at FC Barcelona where I enjoyed three wonderful years. It was my childhood club and I will always be proud and honoured that I had a chance to play for such a great team.

“I do feel that I have unfinished business in the Premier League and now is the right time to return.

“I considered all the other offers very carefully and I firmly believe that Chelsea is the best choice. They match my footballing ambitions with their hunger and desire to win trophies. They have an amazing squad of players and an incredible manager. I am fully committed to this team and I can’t wait to start playing.”

Arsenal Fans outraged
Fabregas’ transfer to Chelsea in particular was very difficult for Arsenal supporters, the club for which the Spanish midfielder played for eight years, and at one time was the club’s captain. Their anger fans decided to show on the traditional way – by burning the shirt of Arsenal former player. Especially to them ‘echoes’ Fabregas’ statement when he returned to Barça: “Once Gunner, always a Gunner.”
