On the last day of the summer transfer window Chelsea have boosted their attack by signing the QPR’s striker Loic Remy (27).

French striker has signed a contract for four years, and his former club will receive a compensation of 13 million euros. Remy has arrived as a replacement for the Spaniard Fernando Torres, who will continue his career in Italian AC Milan.

“I am delighted with this transfer. It’s a great thing to play for Chelsea, one of the biggest clubs in the world,” said Remy who in Queens Park Rangers played only for one season. Specifically only six months since the second part of the last season Remy spent on loan at Newcastle United. He played for Marseille, Nice, Lyon and Lens. For the French team has amassed 24 appearances and has scored five goals.
