Louis Van Gaal has not many choices left , so he will probably play Michael Carrick today at the heart of the defensive wall. The midfielder admits that he will play whenever his team needs him. He stated : “Defence is not something I have played in an awful lot. I have had spells of it over the years playing two or three or four games in a season. If I need to play there then fine – I have not had a lot of football recently so I will play anywhere.
