Turkish club Besiktas has enquired about a transfer move for Tottenham Hotspurs captain, Younes Kaboul.

The Frenchman has fallen out of favour at White Hart Lane, and has not started in Tottenham’s last nine league games.

The 29-year-old is also attracting interest from English Premier League sides Everton and Sunderland.

Kaboul was surprisingly handed the Tottenham armband in the summer after the departure of Craig Dawson to Hull City.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is expected to demand a fee of up to £5 million for the defender, before allowing him to leave the club.

It is believed Tottenham are looking to offload their fringe players before they make a move for Aston Villa’s Fabian Delph.

It is believed that no official offer has been made by Besiktas, but they have the indication that Spurs are willing to sell.
