Done deal !? Reigning Premier league champions, Manchester City finally found replacement for their injury striker and the Citizens have agreed to pay to Swansea a whopping £30million fee for their striker Wilfried Bony.

Manuel Pellegrini recently is having problems making the first team considering their all his three attacking options, Edin Dzeko , Sergio Aguero and Jovetic are out due to injuries. This forced Man City’s board to chase another striker. First option, Atletico Madrid’s Mario Mandzukic, hit the wall as Simeone despite Torres’ arrival is not keen to lose his first striker, made Swansea City’s striker Wilfried Bony number 1 target.

Even Swansea boss Garry Monk earlier in the season said that Wilfried Bony is staying with the Swans and that only an “astronomical” fee could change things, unfortunately for him, the same bid came, as Manchester City have agreed to pay a whopping £30million for the 26-year-old Ivory Coast star.

The Ivory Coast striker said that he will only accept offers of the clubs that do participate in the Champions league competition. Since the Africa Cup of Nation is starting soon, Bony will is leaving England until the end of it, and on his return all should be done.

Bony who joined Swansea City two seasons ago from from Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem, is the Swans’ leading scorer with nine goals from his last 14 appearances.
