Italian international Thiago Motta has reportedly requested to leave PSG in the current window.

Manchester United, Tottenham, Juventus and AC Milan have shown interest in the 32-year-old Italian midfielder.

Motta has made 22 appearances for Paris Saint Germain this season, and has been a key part of the side since is arrival in 2012. Recently, Motta has struggled with form and his relationship with the French champions has deteriorated due to feeling undervalued by the club, and being paid less than some of the other players at the club.

The Italian’s agent, Alessandro Canovi said, ‘A player like Thiago cannot stay at a club for months after he has voiced doubts over whether he’d stay past the summer. We need clarity, otherwise we could look round at other options. January is a long month, so we’ll wait for the moment.’

Reports from French newspaper L’Equipe have said that PSG are not interested in selling Motta at the current moment. PSG manager, Laurent Blanc commented, ‘He’s an important player, I keep saying that. He’s a very good player, but he’s not in optimal physical condition right now, that’s certain. If he gets back to his best, I’m convinced he can become an important player for PSG again.”

Manchester United and Juventus look the most likely options for the central midfielder, although AC Milan have confirmed talks with Motta’s agent, who has mentioned the San Siro as a suitable club for the 32-year-old.

Canovi said, ‘The next few days will be decisive to understand Thiago’s future. We’ll see what the club says and wait to hear their intentions.’
