England remain perfect in their Euro 2016 campaign after completing a comeback against Slovenia. Roy Hodgson’s men trailed at the half-time 1-0 as Novakovic sends one past Hart, but in the second half the Arsenal man Jack Wilshere bags two to overturn the lead. Five minutes before the end, Slovenia have equalised over Nejc Pecnik who nods an excellent header. Only two minutes later Manchester United’s striker Wayne Rooney breaks through the middle of the Slovenia defence and slots the ball past Handanovic to complete a comeback for the Three Lions and to keep England’s record in group E clean with six wins from the six games. A win with which England have practically qualified for the European competition in France.
