Arsenal has stepped up a gear and merged three wins, Manchester United, Watford and the largest one vs Bayern Munich in the Champions League. Everton is Gunners favorite rival, considering that Wenger’s men have celebrated 17 times from the last 21 games in London against the Toffees. But four of the last six have ended all square. With a win over Everton, Arsenal can hit the league top, and 11 goals in their last three top-flight fixture without conceding any could suggest that this could happen.

“What is the most important for me is to continue to develop as a team, to feel that we grow in the quality of our game.”

“Before, maybe, when we were not dominating completely the game, we were a bit insecure. On Tuesday night, Bayern had a lot of the ball, but we could handle that.”

“If you want to be at the top you have to be consistent and to play at a high level, and the match against Everton is a big one, and at our stadium we need to continue the positive series.”

When we consider Everton schedule this season, playing all with tough teams, nine place with 13 points it’s not so bad. In the last round at home Everton lose 3-0 to Manchester United who so, bounced back following his 3-0 defeat vs Arsenal.

“It was a really bad day for us, one of those results you couldn’t see coming, you couldn’t expect and as a team we want to be back to reach our level.

“We’ll have to do it in one of the hardest arenas in the league and against one of the hardest opponents. Look at what they’ve achieved in the last few weeks and especially against Bayern Munich, we know we’re going to find a team in their best moment of confidence and belief.

“Historically it’s not a fixture we do too well in at our football club so it’s another incentive for us.”

As for available players and teams, Wenger can’t count on Danny Welbeck (knee), Jack Wilshere (ankle) and Tomas Rosicky (knee), while Aaron Ramsey after picking up a hamstring injury against Bayern is most likely out.
