Aston Villa
Aston Villa are determined to finish the run of their poor form in front of their fans at the Villa Park , but they won’t find it easy today against Tottenham. Since their win at Anfield vs Liverpool thanks to Gabriel Agbonlahor’s strike , Aston Villa has collected 5 consecutive looses , also failing to score any goal.

But, despite the poor form and goal drought , Aston Villa’s manager is confident that the poor form will stop and the goals will come.

“Not scoring goals has hurt us, but it will come,” said Lambert. “Tottenham are not hitting the heights of what they expect, but they are still a really good side.

“They were up there last year in the top bracket and I’m under no illusions how tough it will be.”

Lambert will try to finish Aston Villa’s poor form without some of their best players. Alan Hutton won’t be able to face his former club because a sprained ankle. Fabian Delph and Philippe Senderos either, will not be able to help Aston Villa today to end their winless form.

Possible Line ups : Guzan ,Lowton, Vlaar, Baker, Cissokho, Cleverley, Westwood, Sanchez, Wimann, Agbonlahor, Benteke.

Tottenham

To avoid that , Pochettino will have Hugo Lloris, Younes Kaboul, Christian Eriksen, Erik Lamela and Emmanuel Adebayor available tonight since they came back from their injuries.

Pochettino claims that the victory against Brighton this midweek has raised his team morale and they will try to continue the good form with another victory today vs Aston Villa. Anyway, The Spurs manager admits that the team must stay concentrated and not become complacent.

“It was an important result against Brighton to recover our confidence and belief,” said Pochettino. “We wanted to get into the next round of the Capital One Cup and now we all look forward to Aston Villa.

“We played well for the first 45 minutes against Newcastle, but we had a lack of concentration at the beginning of the second half and that changed the game. After that, it was difficult.”

Possible Line ups : Lloris , Rose, Vertonghen, Kaboul, Naughton, Mason, Capoue, Chadli, Eriksen, Lamela, Adebayor
