The big derby match, The “German El Clasico” in which the second placed team Borussia Dortmund welcome Pep Guardiola’s Bayern Munich, a leading team in Bundesliga. Pressure is definetly on the Klopp’s side considering they are trailing four points behind Bavarians, and with a possible lose, this gap could increase. It must be said that probably neither team is happy with this derby match, as it comes in a bad time for both teams, knowing that almost all the players of both teams had a international break which resulted with a lot of the injuries.

The home side, currently have the best attack in the league after netting 32 goals, while Pep’s man currently have the best defence in the league, as they conceded so far only 7 goals. While Borrusia wants to win this game to cut the gap to 1 point, recent mutual results are in Dortmund favour which certainly will give a slight edge over Bavarians. Namely, FC Bayern are without a win against Dortmund in six meetings, and in the last match, in the German Super Cup, Dortmund celebrated a 4-2 victory. The last two matches in Bundesliga ended without a winner and both with the same 1-1 result.

On the other side, Bayern Munich since their last league defeat against Leverkusen 2-1 which was almost 13 months ago, are on the long unbeaten strike, and they set a new league record of 37 games without defeat. In their last 49 games, Bayern always scored, still against Dortmund, Bavarians have scored only in their 3 from 6 mutual encounters.

A bad thing for Bayern is that Klopp’s side have lost their last two competitive matches what happened the last time back in January/February 2010. All this means that we will watch a great match, where Borussia needs to comeback to winning road, and when on the other side we have a giant like Bayern , we can expect a lot of goals.

Bad news for the home team is that Marcel Schmelzer, Mats Hummels, Lukas Piszczek and Neven Subotic are out for this match which forced Klopp to sign Manuel Friedrich on Wednesday.

Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has his own troubles as well regarding sidelined players, where on the list of injured players are Franck Ribery, Bastian Schweinsteiger (ankle), Claudio Pizarro (thigh), Xherdan Shaqiri (thigh) and Holger Badstuber (knee).

Probable lineup Borussia Dortmund : Weidenfeller – Blaszczykowski, Sokratis, M.Friedrich, Groskreutz – Sahin, S.Bender – Aubameyang, Mkhitaryan, Reus – Lewandowski

Probable lineup Bayern Munich : Neuer – Lahm, Boateng, Dante, Alaba – J.Martinez – Robben, T.Kroos, T.Muller, M.Gotze – Mandžukić
