Miralem Pjanic is the new Juventus player. National team player of Bosnia and Herzegovina signed a five-year deal, the Bianconeri have splashed €32 million to sign the midfielder from AS Roma.

Pjanic has arrived in Italy in 2011 from Lyon for €11 million , and in 185 games which he played for Roma he scored 46 goals.

At his unveiling at Juventus, Pjanic said he was excited at the prospect of playing in the Bianconeri’s colours.

“It’s always tough to play here against such a great side and a massive club,” Pjanic said. “There’s a different atmosphere to other stadiums, this is a wonderful stadium.

“You knew you were playing against a top side here, and we always expected a tough game. I’m delighted that I’ll be wearing the Juventus shirt from now on.

“I hope it’ll continue to be just as hard for opponents here and that we’ll enjoy a lot of success together.

“It’s a great feeling, and I hope to score lots of goals, play well and win. I just want to make the Juve fans happy.

“I’m delighted to be here, and I hope to give you lots to celebrate on the pitch. I hope we can win together, forza Juve.”
