FA chief Dyke admits that even the poor performance from England in Group Stage of World Cup,their manager Roy Hodgson wont be sacked.

Roy Hodgson will continue to be England manager until Euro 2016 , even after this poor performance in World Cup.FA chief admits that they will still support their manager Roy Hodgson.

“We’re supportive of Roy Hodgson, we’ve asked him to stay as manager,” he told Sky Sports News.

Even after the poor performance vs Italy and Uruguay , where they lost 2-1 to both teams, Dyke still admits that Hodgson made a good job.

“We were not humiliated [against Italy and Uruguay]. They were narrow defeats. We don’t see any great value in changing Roy. He’s done a good job.

“It’s an approach over four years and we need to do better in the Euros [in 2016].”

England will play vs Costa Rica the last game of World Cup group stage.

Roy Hodgson’s England, already eliminated from Brazil 2014, conducted a training session at their Rio base on Saturday (21st June), three days before their final Group D game against Costa Rica.
