Gareth Bale who joined Real Madrid from Tottenham in 2013 for £86 million, recently was linked with Old Trafford move, but Real Madrid legend Zidane, has rejected the rumor regarding Bale joining Manchester United in the summer.
Madrid’s record signing, Bale had a glittering first season with Real Madrid scoring the winning in the Copa Del Rey final but since then he is struggling for form and pressurized by the fans. An angry Madrid fan attacked Bale’s car after Real Madrid lost the El Clasico in the Spanish League. Bale does not feel comfortable to play along side Cristiano Ronaldo and Ronaldo has seemed to be slightly frustrated by Bale in recent games.
Former Spur’s star is linked with numerous European clubs, mainly Manchester United the hot favorite to land the pacey winger. It is reported, Luis van Gaal is serious to sign Bale even if it cost them to pay a record fees to be title counter next season.
Zinedine Zidane speaking to Daily Mirror said:
‘Real Madrid buy the best players in the world. They don’t sell them,’
‘Of course other clubs will be interested in him, he would improve any squad in the world, but the president has said he is not for sale and that is because he is not for sale.
‘That will be the answer to Manchester United or any other club that asks the question.
‘He was a big part of our success last season especially in the Champions League, and as we look to defend our title I am sure he will play a successful part again.’
