England national football team began their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign with a 2-0 away win against Vladimir Petkovic’s team, Switzerland.
Poor edition at the World Cup in Brazil and weak performance in the friendly match with Norway, raised the question of Roy Hodgson’s job, but his team responded to criticism with a convincing victory against the Swiss who did not have a good evening.
Both teams struggled in the first half but in the second half The Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck struck twice to help the Three Lions to enter their first three points. First goal Welbeck scored in the 58th minute while the second he burried in the last minute of the injury time. Surely, Man Utd could start doubting there decision of letting Welbeck to Arsenal.
