Tottenham Hotspur was in complete control for the majority of the match against Watford and in the end led by Harry Kane & Dele Alli celebrated at the Vicarage Road Stadium stadium with 4-1. Mauricio Pochettino’s men opened a new 2017 in a great way, smashing the Hornets in Kane’s 100th appearance in Premier league. Already before the end of the first half, Spurs were three goals up front. Harry Kane scored a double ( 27′, 33′) and Alli did the same, first by scoring and setting the first half result 3-0 in the 41st minute and then at the opening of the second half in the 46th minute he completed his double and sealed a win for his side. In the injury time, Watford over Kaboul scored a consoling goal for his side.

Tottenham with fourth straight victory and eleventh this season, jumped to fourth place in the table with 39 points, having the same number of points as Manchester City who sit in the fifth place, but with a weaker goal difference.

Arsenal completed the Premier league 19th round with a 2-0 home win against Crystal Palace. The first Gunners goal in 2017, fans will remember for some time. It’s was a masterpiece of the French striker Oliver Giroud who scored in the 17th minute with a scorpion kick that echoed Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s effort for Manchester United against Sunderland.

The Final score and Arsenal 2-0 win against the Eagles in the 56th minute has set Iwobi. A win with which Gunners jumped to the third place.
