Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is looking to strength his team and the Reds are linked with two central defenders according to Daily Mail : Neven Subotic from Borussia Dortmund and Andrea Ranocchia from Inter Milan.

After signing Marko Grujic from the Serbian side Red Star Beograd, Liverpool is considering to sign a centre back and Subotic & Ranocchia are the first names on Klopp’s list.

Neven Subotic, currently Borussia Dortmund player – has been a key player in the defense for Jurgen Klopp on his time at Mainz & Borussia Dortmund. Under Klopp’s management , Subotic has won 2 Bundesliga, 2 German Supercups, 1 DFB Pokal and reached into Champions League final on 2013.

The second target for Premier League giants is Andrea Ranocchia. The Inter Milan centre back isn’t having a great time under Mancini’s orders as he has played only 10 games and most of them as a substitute. The 27-year-old could arrive at Anfield Road on a loan move until the end of the season, with the option of a permanent move.

Liverpool’s injury crysis has hit them hard, as currently they have no available centre backs – which has forced Jurgen Klopp to sign atleast a centre back on January. Also, such injury crysis has forced the Reds to cancel the 12 month loan of Tiago Ilori at Aston Villa.
