The big 223rd Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton ended at Anfield with a 1-1 draw. Both team so far struggled to find more than two wins in the opening five games of the new Premier league season, and the sixth round didnt helped to neither team. Liverpool took the lead in the 65th minute. Mario Balotelli on the edge of the box was fouled and the Reds Captain Steven Gerrard from a perfect free kick has brought his team into a lead. The 1-0 result stayed until the injury time, when inside the Reds box, Dejan Lovren cleared the ball which Phil Jagielka from outside the box volleys into the net past helpless Mignolet.
