Manchester United is yet to decide whether Radamel Falcao will get a permanent move from Monaco or the striker’s future at Old Trafford be over.
Falcao joined Manchester United last September on loan with an option to sign the striker. Manchester United on the other side are taking there time to sign Falcao or not.
Since his move to Manchester United the Colombian international has struggled to live up to the expectations of the United fans and Loius Van Gaal. Falcao has only scored 4 times in 25 appearances.
Manchester United will have to pay 43.5 million in the summer if they are to sign the former Atletico Madrid striker.
Monaco vice-president, Vasilyev told Nice-Matin: “I saw the Manchester United people last Sunday and they have not yet decided if they would exercise the option.
“It’s not his best season, but they kept the opportunity to make a decision at the end of the season. We are not in any other negotiations, even if big clubs are interested. The decision is with Manchester, then we will discuss with the player what he wants.”
He added, “He had mishaps in Monaco. He had problems with the coach [Claudio Ranieri], there was a lack of understanding; he was also seriously injured and missed the World Cup. In late August, he came to tell us that he wanted to play at a higher level.”
