Michael Essien’s agent said that his client during the January transfer window will leave Chelsea. Essien is not satisfied with his position on the bench under coach Mourinho, and after arrival of Nemanja Matic, Ghana International and definitely dropped out from rotation of the midfield at Stamford Bridge. The previous it was speculated that Essien will join Italian side, AC Milan.
“He will go out of Chelsea, I have been contacted by numerous clubs. But AC Milan is not among them, no one from the club called me.
During the week I’ll be at some important meetings, then back to London to talk to with Essien and Chelsea leaders to assess what is the best solution, “said the agent Fabian Piveto.
Essien in his career played for Bastia, Lyon, from where back in 2005 he joined Chelsea. Since 2012. to 2013 Essien was on loan at Real Madrid, after which he returned to Stamford Bridge. For Ghana he played 52 matches and scored nine goals.
