In the first leg of their Champions League third round qualifying tie at Stadio San Paolo, Napoli was held by the Spanish Athletic Bilbao. In a game with a lot goal opportunities on both site, the La Liga side Bilbao over Iker Muniain took the lead just before half-time. The Argentina striker Gonzalo Higuain manage to put things to beginning by canceling Muniain’s opener in the 68 minute, but that was it as the result remained the same until the end. Napoli travels to Spain where at San Mames the Italian will play a second leg match against Bilbao.
