Carroll has signed with West Ham a six-year contract and the “Hammers” for his transfer to Liverpool paid, according to English media, 15.5 million pounds of fixed compensation, plus bonuses. Although the amount of compensation amount has not been confirmed by West Ham, it is a record amount of the London club in the history for a transfer.

Due to way the club runs, the new stadium and everything like that, I think we can only get better – said Carroll, who for Liverpool in 58 appearances in all competitions has scored 11 goals, but during this period was often injured.

Last season, for West Ham Carroll scored 7 goals in 24 appearances.
