Olympiakos 3 – Arsenal 1 (Champions League, December 6, 2011) Djourou and Squillaci’s mix up allowed Rafik Djebbour to fire Olympiakos into the lead on 17 minutes. A terrible goalie gaffe from substitute Vito Mannone presented David Fuster with the second for Olympiakos nine minutes before half-time. Yossi Benayoun pulled one back for Arsenal on 57 with a fine finish into the far corner. Francois Modesto tapped in the third late on after Olof Mellberg had hit the post with a header from a free-kick.Despite this victory Olympiakos didnt manage to qualify for the next phase of Uefa Champions League.
