Tony Pulis is no longer a coach of Crystal Palace, the news shocked many in England. Although Manuel Pellegrini in his premiere season, has taken the the title with Manchester City last spring England was praising two managers – Brendan Rodgers and Tony Pulis.

The first was voted for the manager of the year despite failing to win the league title, and the other was right next to him. Pulis was ‘Premier League Manager of the Season’ by choice of the league sponsor.

What Tony Pulis did last year with Crystal Palace, many will declare as a real little miracle. He took over the club in November when the Eagles were sitting on the last place with just four points, and Crystal Palace ended season as a great 11th. Now the fairy tale ended. Less than 48 hours before the start of the new season Pulis has left the club!

Reason ? Pulis was unhappy with the transfer policy of the club with which he wanted to do something better this season. Steven Caulker, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Michu were his wishes, but the first one joined QPR, the Spaniard went to Napoli, and the Icelander to Swansea.

Crystal Palace on Saturday will play against Arsenal at the Emirates and Dave Kemp will lead the team. As a possible heir at Crystal Palace bench were mentioned former Cardiff manager Malky Mackay and the Irishman Martin O’Neill.
