This Saturday on the schedule were eight games of the Euro 2016 qualifications, and we bring a Recap, Match Highlights & Goals of the same.

In group I, Portugal already from the 14th minute was 1-0 behind but than on the scene comes Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo who first 15 minutes later puts things to start and in the second half bags two more goals to complete his hat-trick and to bring Portugal the final 3-2 win in Armenia.

With this win Portugal remained on the 1st place of Group I with 12 points, two less than the second placed Denmark who with 2-0 at home was better than Serbia. A result which ended Serbia’s hope of reaching the second place. Armenia as Serbia remains on the bottom having only one point.

In the same group Albania rested from Euro 2016 Qualifications and thus played a friendly match against France and won it with 1-0.

The reigning World Cup champions Germany with high 7-0 smashed Gibraltar despite having only a 1-0 lead at the half-time in which Schweinsteiger missed a penalty for Germany.

That things for Germany won’t be easy in group D suggest that they are currently on the second place having one point less than the first Poland and two more than the third Scotland.

Poland led by a superb Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski at home smashed Georgia 4-0.

While in Ireland, the Scots have played a 1-1 draw against the host keeping their chances still big and leaving the Irish team on the fourth with nine points.

In group F, Faroe Islands surprised many by a 2-1 win against the former Euro champion, Greece leaving them on the bottom with 2 points. Faroe Islands are currently on the fourth with 6 points but despite this shocking win, they won’t see the European comepetition in France in 2016.

The second placed team Northern Ireland hosted Romania in a game where with a win both team could put a one had on the ticket for Euro 2016. The match ended with a goalless draw, leaving Romania on the first with 14 points and Northern Ireland on the second with 13 points.

Hungary did a fine job by grabbing all three points away against Finland and with these three points they jumped on third place, and kept their chances of seeing Euro 2016. Currently they have 11 points.
