Looking to improve their goals ratio and to keep the pressure towards the Serie A leading team Juventus, AS Roma have signed two new strikers, Seydou Doumbia from CSKA Moscow and Victor Ibarbo from Cagliari.

After sending Mattia Destro to AC Milan during the winter break, AS Roma have strenghten their attacking part of the team with signing Seydou Doumbia from CSKA Moscow and Victor Ibarbo from Cagliari.

The Giallorossi have paid Cagliari €2.5 million to sign the striker who has scored two goals in 13 Serie A appearances on a loan until the end of the 2014-15 season but with the option of buying the 24-year-old striker in the summer for an additional €12.5m. In 2011, Ibarbo joined Cagliari from Atletico Nacional.

Previously, The Ivorian forward, the 27-year-old, Seydou Doumbia who won two Russian league titles with the capital club and was twice the league’s top goalscorer has signed a contract with the Giallorossi until 2019, in a €15 million move.

“I have chosen Roma for their offensive football and in order to play with a monster like Totti,” the forward is quoted as saying by the Corriere dello Sport.
