Cristiano Ronaldo scored three goals to Atletico Madrid and silenced the Vicente Calderon with his superb performances.

The Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo has broken Alfredo Di Stefano’s record as the highest scorer in the history of the Madrid derby by scoring a hat-trick against Atletico Madrid.

With new three goals on his account, the Portuguese came up to 17 goals in the Madrid derby and 351 in the top five leagues, which before him only two players in history have managed. He scored a 39th hat-trick in the Los Blancos jersey, second to Atletico Madrid and fifth this year in all competitions.

Ronaldo is the only one in the history of La Liga which twice has scored a hat trick at the Vicente Calderon. Ronaldo’s goal for the lead in the Madrid derby was his 20th from a free kick. In Liga BBVA currently, there are no players who scored more, Messi has scored 16 from direct free kicks.

In the 71st minute Ronaldo from a penalty raised the score to 2-0, while only six minutes later on Bale’s assist Ronaldo completed his hat-trick.
