CRISTIANO RONALDO for the second time in a row won the award for the best player of the world, Ballon d’Or. Unlike last year, this time Ballon d’Or Ronaldo did not received his award in tears, but he screamed.
“It was an amazing year. I want to become even better, I want to make progress every day,” said Ronaldo, for whom this is the third Golden Ball in his career.
The 29-year-old Ronaldo with the number of awards for the best player has equalized with legends such as Cruyff, Platini and Van Basten, but he is one short behind Lionel Messi, who in 2014 finished as the second best footballer the world, while Manuel Neuer third.
“I hope that I will not stop at this and that i shall reach Messi. I want to become the best footballer of all time.”
