In the 22nd round of the English Premier league, except West Bromwich Albion who celebrated a 2-0 (D. Fletcher 30′, C. Brunt 36′) win at home against Sunderland, neither home team managed to seal home win as guests were more successful.

On Saturday in the opening game of this round, Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool was denied by the bottom-placed team Swansea City. After a goalless first half, things got spiced up in the second one. The Spanish striker Llorente in space of just four minutes has scored twice and shocked the Anfield. Llorente opened the scoring in the 48th minute, while four minutes later he put the Swans into a 2-0 lead in Liverpool.

The Reds responded trough a Brazilian Firmino who in the 55th minute reduced the score to 1-2 and in the 69th minute leveled the score. Jurgen Klopp’s men until the end, rushed to find a winner, but it were the Swans who trough Sigurdsson in the 74th minute have scored third which was enough for them to upset Liverpool title chances, to seal three points and jump above the relegation zone.

Manchester United from the 19th minute when Juan Mata scored an own goal was behind 1-0 and their unbeaten run was close to end. At the Britannia Stadium against Stoke City, a savior for the Red Devils was their captain, Wayne Rooney who scored his 250th goal for Man Utd in the 94th minute of stoppage time, and extended their unbeaten run.

West Ham United without their first name Payet who’s likely on the move to Marseille, enrolled second straight win. This time the Hammers led by Andy Caroll who scored three goals at the Riverside Stadium celebrated with 3-1 at Middlesbrough. With new three points, Slaven Bilic’s men jumped to the middle of the table, having 28 points. Middlesbrough currently sit just two points above the relegation zone.

Bournemouth and Watford have played a 2-2 draw (J. King 48′, B. Afobe 82’/ C. Kabasele 24′, T. Deeney 64′), while Everton celebrated an away minimum 1-0 win at Crystal Palace. The only goal for the Toffees scored Coleman in the 87th minute. Manchester City and Tottenham are playing later.
