Tottenham fans might have not expected that their team would have performed so well this season, as at the start of the season they might have been quite happy with a 4th position. Right now, the Spurs stands second, just 7 points away from Leicester City as there are still 6 games to be played.

Lately Tottenham have not run in a good form, as they’ve left many points behind. After a strike of 6 consecutive wins earlier, the Spurs now have secured only 2 wins on their last 5 games – losing to West Brom away and also drawing vs Arsenal and Liverpool.

Tottenham have not quite a good record against Manchester United in the last three games, and they’ve not scored a single goal against them. Anyway, the Spurs run on a good form on home, as they’ve lost only two games whole season at White Hart Lane. Tottenham also holds the best defensive record on the Premier league as they’ve conceded only 25 goals, but also they’ve been quite good on the attacking phase as they’ve scored 57 goals.

The Key player for Tottenham this match will certainly be Harry Kane. The 22 years old striker has scored 22 goals in Premier League this season, also lately he won the Player of the Month March.

Good news for Pochettino this week-end since the Belgian centre-back Jan Vertonghen returms after missing the fields for 3 months. He might start alongside Toby Alderweireld at the heart of the defense. Erik Lamela is also expected to return since he passed the fit tests. He will replace Son Hueng-min after missing the last clash vs Liverpool.

A disappointing season for Manchester United under Louis Van Gaal, as their main aim was winning the title but they’ve finished fighting for the 4th spot. Louis Van Gaal has been criticised much this season, also there have been rumours of Jose Mourinho replacing him, but a Top 4 position on the league and the FA Cup trophy could help Louis Van Gaal stay for another season.

Manchester United currently sits 5th, 4 points away from Manchester City who stands 4th and 1 point clear of West Ham. The Red Devils have shown good signs lately, as on their last 5 games they number 4 victories, which 3 of them were against Arsenal, Manchester City and Everton.

Louis Van Gaal will count on Anthony Martial this game, as the French striker is on fire after scoring 3 goals in his last 4 games. Anyway, Van Gaal must know that the season is over if he looses against Tottenham at White Hart Lane. The Red Devils also have to face Leicester City in two weeks, and have an important clash vs West Ham for the FA Cup Quarter-Finals.

Manchester United have been suffering of many injuries during Van Gaal reign, but there are good news this week-end since Phil Jones, Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia are available for the clash vs Tottenham. Wayne Rooney is also fit , but the United Captain is selected for the U21 side before he returns.
