Current West Ham United striker Mauro Zarate looks likely to be moving across London to QPR on loan for the remainder of the season. Harry Redknapp is unsure as to whether the deal will be completed, but it is looking more than likely it will be completed in the coming days.
Ben Arfa Loaned to Nice
Newcastle United have agreed with French club Nice to loan Hatem Ben Arfa to France for the remainder of the season. The frenchman was expected to return to Newcastle training next week after his loan deal with Hull was cancelled, but he will now travel to France to complete a medical before the deal is finalised next week.
Cavani linked with Manchester United move
Edison Cavani has been linked with a £62 million move to Manchester United. If the rumours are true, United will have to compete with other English clubs like Arsenal and Liverpool who are also showing interest in the Uruguayan.
Lennon not needed at Tottenham
Aaron Lennon has been on the fringe at Tottenham, and is not wanted by manager Mauricio Pochettino. He has been made available, with interest reportedly coming from Stoke City and Southampton.
Manchester United interested in Gundogan
Ilkay Gundogan does not want to stay in Germany and it is reported that Manchester United may be interested in signing the German midfielder. There is also reported to be interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool, but United look to be front runners.
West Brom to cash in on Berahino
Reports today have suggested that West Brom are ready to cash in on young English talent Saido Berahino. New manager, Tony Pulis, is not fussed about keeping the striker, and it is believed £20 million would be enough to lure him away from the club. Liverpool and Tottenham are front runners for Berahino, and he is expected to move as Berahino said ‘he does not believe his future lies at West Brom’. The club also want to see to free up funds for Tony Pulis.
Rumour: Napoli agree deal with Vlaar
Reports in Italy have claimed that Aston Villa centre back, Ron Vlaar, has agreed terms with Napoli and could quit Villa now or at the end of the current season. The Dutch international has been linked with Manchester United for a long time, but the Napoli switch looks like it is going to happen, whether it is now or in July is the question.
Liverpool make Shaqiri bid
Liverpool have reportedly made a £14 million bid to Bayern Munich for Swiss winger Xerdan Shaqiri. Inter Milan and Juventus have also shown interest in the Bayern winger, and are reportedly interested in a short loan until the end of the season before potentially making the deal permanent.
Elia loaned to Southampton
Southampton have completed the signing of Werder Bremen winger Eljero Elia on loan until the end of the season. The deal could potentially become permanent at the end of the current season, as Elia has been out of favour at Werder Bremen recently. Elia has made 27 appearances for the Netherlands and played at the 2014 World Cup.
Sanogo close to Arsenal departure
French side Bordeaux are hoping to sign Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo on a six month loan deal. The deal comes due to an injury to Bordeaux’s main striker Malian Diabate who is out for 4 months with knee surgery.
