Spanish La Liga club Valencia is close of signing the Hajduk Split’s wonderkid, dubbed as the next Andrea Pirlo in a transfer deal worth 6 million euros!

The 17-years old Croat, Andrija Balic who plays for Hajduk Split is close of moving to Spanish La liga. Reportedly, the represents of Valencia and Hajduk have met several time over the possible move of Hajduk’s young gem, and they finally agreed over the transfer fee. Hajduk according to some reports from the Croatian media, rejected the first offer of Valencia but have agreed on the second one. Valencia offered at first 5,5 millions for Balic or/and a package 10 millions for both Balic and Vlašić which Hajduk rejected.

Andrija Balic has made his debut for Hajduk last year at age of 16, and in this season he was a first team player and he used a given time on the best way, showing his wide range of skills, which surely the club from Mestalla recognized.

The 17-years-old Balic plays in the midfield where he can play as defensive, central and attacking midfielder. Given his looks and the style of play in Croatia he is dubbed as the next “Andrea Pirlo”. Surely he is a long way from the class of Pirlo, but Valencia can “polish” further Hajduk Split’s “gem”.

It’s interesting but the club from Croatia has another “gem” in the first team, the 17-years-old Nikola Vlašić, who as well is the part of the first team, and the Premier league side, Tottenham Hotspur already last year have set their eyes on him. It’s interesting, but the Spurs were previously linked with Andrija Balic as well.

Last season, Mario Pašalić joined Chelsea from Hajduk Split but immediately was sent to Spanish La liga, to Elche where he was one of the key players of the Spanish side and several times was in the Spanish La liga team of the week.

It looks like that Hajduk Split knows how to make amazing talents, and it remains to be seen where Nikola Vlašić will end up.
