Manchester United winger , Antonio Valencia signed a new 3years contract with his current club with an option of a further year. He is the first player that renews the contract under Van Gaal management.
The Ecuador national team winger , had only 1 year left in his contract with Manchester United and now he did extend it until 2018.As mentioned before , he is the first player that extend a contract since Van Gaal was appointed as United manager.
Ryan Giggs give us the good news , and he hails Antonio Valencia efforts at Old Trafford.
“I’m really pleased Antonio has signed a new contract. His contribution to the team since he joined the club in 2009 has been fantastic,” said Giggs.
“Antonio is a very powerful player with great speed and versatility. He is very professional in his approach to training and I am delighted he has committed his future to the club.”
Meanwhile Valencia admits that he is happy to stay at Old Trafford.
“I am so happy to have signed a new deal and am looking forward to working with Louis van Gaal. There is great team spirit within the club and we are all determined to get back to winning ways.”
