Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp sizes up Southampton on Friday ahead of English Premier League clash.

“We have to play football, if we can’t we have two play long balls. That is what they do! They want to play if you let them and if not…they have (Graziano) Pellè. Yeah, good thing to do is give him the ball because he is very physical player but also very technical. A really good striker. Then they have (Sadio) Mané around him – big speed, big talent and really good player. Then you have (Dušan) Tadić on the left wing.

What I heard is he has the most crosses in the Premier League, that is the word so you know, they want to play and they are in a good shape. They have seven points from the last three games. They were close to a victory against Leicester but maybe they closed “the book” a little bit too early and then finished the game with a draw. But a good team and not an easy game”

With his team set to travel to Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday, Southampton manager Ronald Koeman speaks about new Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and Koeman’s former coach Johan Cruyff.

“We had some good wins this season and we had some defeats when we made some mistakes. But I think now if you watch the team, how we’re doing in the last few weeks, it’s really on a good level, the level that we expect and we showed that against Chelsea away – I think that was an important game to know that we still are a team tough to beat”
