After beating Honduras side 3-0 in their Group E opener, France produced football rhapsody against the Swiss and already in the first half smashed three goals, despite Karim Benzema’s penalty miss. Goals scored O. Giroud 17′, B. Matuidi 18’and M. Valbuena 40′.

Still Benzema manage to enter his name into the goal scoring list in 67th minute, while six minute later he enrolled the assist for Moussa Sissoko to make it five for France.

Before the end Dzemaili pulled a goal back with a low 30-yard strike in the 81st minute, before Xhaka scored for the final 5-2 on Gokhan Inler’s chipped pass with a superb first-touch volley.
