Arsene Wenger despite victory and almost outstanding sensation,was very pleased with his team’s play. Convincing win against Milan is not something that happens every day.
“I am extremely proud of our game and this team. We showed that we have pride and dignity after we lost the first game. It was the fault of our first meeting that cost placements in the quarterfinals.”
“In the second half we were tired, and we also had the disadvantage that we have players injured. If this did not happen to them we could score two or three goals more for sure,” said Wenger.
Despite having scored the first goal and it has provided one of the best parties in the Arsenal shirt, Laurent Koscielny was not happy about the win.
“We really did our best. I do not know. In the first part we played how we wanted. Robin Van Persie had a great chance in the second half, but not scored . We fought and we were very close to the sensation . Thus we must continue in the Premiership, ” concluded Koscielny.
