The Champions League quarter-final draw has delivered just about everything a football fan could have asked for.
The reigning European champion Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus, Leicester City, Atletico Madrid and Monaco have reached a place in the quarter-finals.
IAN RUSH, great Welshman and a famous player of the Liverpool and Juventus, set a draw for the quarter-finals of the Champions League. On the way to the final in Cardiff two great derbies and a repeat of the UCL 2015 final await us. The reigning European champion Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich for the ten time will clash in the knockout stage.
In the last three mutual matches celebrated Real Madrid, including the semi-finals 2013/14 .. when the Spaniards were led by Carlo Ancelotti, the current coach of Bayern Munich. Barcelona in the final in 2015 won the title over Juventus (3:1). It was only the seventh competitive game in the history between these two great clubs.
The first quarter-final matches are scheduled for April 11 and 12, and the 2nd leg matches for a week later. This year’s Champions League final game will be played on 3 June at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
The reigning Premier league champion and the only English side which manage to avoid a drop from the UCL, Leicester City will face Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid, while Monaco after knocking Manchester City will clash with the other German side, Borussia Dortmund.
