From the Premier league big boys, top six placed clubs, only the league toppers, Chelsea, have played this Saturday, considering that the game beetwen Southampton and Arsenal was postponed. Antonio Conte’s men have used that on the best way, sealing a 3-1 against the Swans, increasing at least temporarily the gap at the top, thus putting more pressure on the other teams.

Led by three Spaniards, the Blues enrolled a new win. First, Fabregas opened the scoring in the 19th minute, giving his side a lead which lasted until the injury time of the first half when Llorente leveled the score at the Stamford Bridge. In the second half, another Spaniard, Pedro gave the Blues another lead, in the 72nd minute, while twelve minutes later the Brazilian with the Spanish passport, Diego Costa, sealed the final result, Chelsea 3, Swansea 1. With new three points at their account, Chelsea increased the gap to 11 points, but also have played a game more than the second placed team, Manchester City.

Everton a game against the league bottom side, Sunderland, used to gain more points. Gueye before the end of the first half (40′) gave the Toffes a lead while Lukaku in the 80th minute sealed all three points for side and set the final score, Everton 2, Sunderland 0.

Crystal Palace enrolled a minimum 1-0 win at Selhurst Park against Middlesbrough and the only goal of the match scored Patrick van Aanhol, renewing a hope of Premier League survival to his team.

Hull City and Burnley at the Kingston Communications Stadium have played a 1-1 draw. After a goalless first half, in the second half, four minutes were needed for visitors to see both teams scoring. First, Huddlestone gave a lead to Hull City, but only four minutes later Keane canceled the same, leaving the Tigers still in the relegation zone.

West Brom with 2-1 was better than Bournemouth. King opened the scoring for the visitors already in the 5th minute, but only five minutes later Dawson sets the result to the start. In the 21st minute McAuley scored to give the home side a lead, which lasted until the end.

In the last game played on Saturday, Watford hosted West Ham United. Deeney shocked the Hammers, firing an opener in the third minute from a penalty. During the most of the game, West Ham was a better team on the pitch, but the fortune wasn’t keen to Bilic’s boys. Still, trough the late substitution, Ayew in the 73rd minute, West Ham United managed to level the score. Until the end the Hammers were pushing but Antonio’s second yellow card reduced their chances of finding a winner, which in the end both sites could score.
