The French side winger Ousmane Dembele has attracted the interest of many big European clubs lately, but the 18 years old has denied to have contacted with any club so far. Rennes wonderkid has seen himself linked with Bayern Munich or other giants like FC Barcelona, but Dembele has stated that no contacts have been made and he’s concentrated on playing and improving as a player with his current club.
The Frenchman has been on the spotlight after having a great season so far with Rennes – scoring 10 goals in 19 appearances in Ligue 1, being the only 18 years old who has reached that quote on the last 25 years on France. The 18 years old wonderkid scored his first goal on his debut and his first hat trick on the derby earlier this month.
Dembele has denied the rumours of an agreement with Bayern Munich, as the 18 years old admits that he heard first of that story on the medias.
“I was not even aware there was talk of me at Bayern, I read it in the press. I have no agreement with Bayern,” stated the 18 years old.
The Frech Winger admits that the transfer rumours are not affecting on his game, and he’s fully concentrated on the pitch, helping Rennes to reach the Champions League spot. Dembele was a top performer for his team last week vs Lyon as he scored a goal and assisted another.
“I am well, I do not let the rumours go to my head, I am only thinking about what happens on the pitch, about football.” continued Dembele “It’s a good feeling. I am keeping my head on straight.”
