After a long anticipation PSG have sealed a mega-transfer this summer. Angel Di Maria moved from Manchester United to PSG for 63 million euros.
The Ligue 1 champion, Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed the signing of Angel Di Maria from Manchester United in the second most expensive Ligue 1 transfer ever. The Argentina international has penned a four-year contract with the French champions.
Laurent Blanc side have splashed €63m (£44.3m) to bring the Argentina international winger to the Parc des Princes. Only a year ago, the Red Devils have paid Los Blancos a British-record £59.7 million for the 27-year-old and despite making a flying start at his Old Trafford career, Louis van Gaal didn’t see Di Maria anymore in his plans.
As we wrote before more than a month ago when PSG have shown their first interest to sign Di Maria while on the other side Man Utd was looking to make a transfer swap signing Edinson Cavani from the Ligue 1 Champions, it could be that Cavani’s move to Old Trafford is a next thing to happen.

What’s sure is that Man Utd boss, LVG with money in the “bank” is going to sign Barcelona winger Pedro who is set as one of the key players in his plans in the Premier league title race this season.

Speaking for his new club’s official website on Thursday Di Maria said “I am very proud, and can’t wait to wear the colours of Paris Saint-Germain,” Di Maria told his new club’s official website on Thursday.
“I want to win every competition we enter, both in France and Europe. I want to win the Champions League, which is a dream for all footballers, for a second time. ”
“We will do everything we can to bring Europe’s biggest trophy to France and the fans of Paris Saint-Germain.”
Regarding hius Manchester United exit Di Maria said: “It doesn’t happen as it should have. After this it is not only my decision to leave Manchester United. The club agreed to sell me.”
While PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi added: “We are very proud that Angel Di Maria has chosen Paris Saint-Germain.”
