Garcia aware what a win for Roma vs Bayer Leverkusen would mean

Garcia looked ahead on Monday (19th October) to a UEFA Champions League meeting with Bayer Leverkusen.

Rudi Garcia, AS Roma head coach

“We know that Bayer Leverkusen has a very good team, presses very high on the pitch and plays with a high tempo. And the team has started well in the Champions League so far. Perhaps they haven’t played with the same standard domestically, but we are aware that Bayer are a quality side.”

“There is a difficult task awaiting us here tomorrow, but we are here to get a positive result. I am aware that Roma has not won in Germany for 15 years, but we will attempt to put an end to this run. They are a good team and we know that we play with them twice now. There will be only two games remaining after that, but those games won’t be enough to recover if we not do well. So tomorrow’s game is certainly an important one.”
