Massimiliano Allegri, Juventus manager:

“The game in Munich is decisive, we have to win, we have no other choice. Then if you win it in the first minute or the 90th, it’s the same thing. The important thing is to go there with the desire to go through, something which certainly isn’t simple seeing as we’re facing Bayern Munich. If we don’t understand this, then we’ve lost touch with reality. This week I heard people say that Juventus will cruch Bayern…but of course this wasn’t the case. They crushed us in the first half and then in the second we came out and created many chances to score.”
Pep Guardiola, Bayern Munich head coach:

“I could not come here expecting that Juventus would not try to score. I could not come here and expect to play 90 minutes of our best football, it’s about moments. When you’re playing against Pogba, Mandžukić, Morata, Bonucci – who is one of my favourite players since forever – and Buffon. You have to be ready to play for all the 90 minutes. We have produced a great performance. Of course there is a little disappointment because we didn’t manage to win the match but this is football .
