The Spaniards , however , had the “main word” at the beginning of the match . Midfielders of Atletico managed to press the AC Milan midfield , but there wasnt the right ball to Costa who was lurking in the box.

Milan successfully defended on 20 meters from the goal, and the host was lurking their chance from quick counter attacks and half-counter attacks . It is precisely this what happen in the 14th minute when Kaka fired from the top of the penalty area but the crossbar stopped his shot .

The Rossoneri then pulled-up into a “higher gear” , but all their attempts has stopped the miraculous Courtois .

In the second half, Atletico managed to take control, but only for a very short time, because the players of Milan restart a major offensive. However, Courtois did not had a hard taks, given that the Rossoneri were very imprecise.

In the 83 minute, Atletico came into the lead. Perhaps the best player in the defense of Milan, Ignazio Abate, bounced the ball to other post where lurked Diego Costa, who puts it in.

Milan failed to return after this shock and travels to Madrid a one goal behind.
