The reigning champion, Juventus celebrated at home in the 21st round of the Serie A competition against Lazio. Already in the first half the game was sealed. Dybala opened the scoring early in the game, in the 5th minute while Higuain eleven minutes later sealed the final result, 2-0. Edin Dzeko in the 55th minute scored an only goal for AS Roma, which was enough for the Giallorossi to book a minimum home win and to keep pace with the leading team, Juventus. Away at Palermo, Inter celebrated with the same result, and the only goal scorer was João Mário in the 65th minute.
