The Red Devils have expressed their interest on Southampton winger Sadio Mane as they’re about to lose the race against Chelsea to sign Barcelona star, Pedro.
The 23 years old winger have been on the wish list of Louis Van Gaal , as an alternative of Pedro Rodriguez. The Dutchman has not waited long and has made a bid for Mane, but Southampton officials refused it.
“He is a key part of our team and our planning for the future. He wouldn’t be sold.” said Southampton officials.
The Senegalese International is known for his hattrick record last season against Aston Villa. He broke the record as he scored a hat trick on 2 minutes 56 seconds.
Sadio Mane is known for his speed, good technical and his goalscoring abilities, which is what Louis Van Gaal is adding to his “new Manchester”.
Mane joined Southampton last summer from Red Bull Salzburg and during his time at St Mary’s Stadium he has scored 10 goals on 32 appearances – only Pelle has scored goals than him at Southampton last season [12].
