Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino talks ahead of Wednesday’s (20th January) FA Cup third-round replay at Leicester City – the third match between the two teams in 10 days.
“We are ready, I think. We are ready to compete tomorrow. It’s a good opportunity to go into the next round of the FA Cup. It’s important for us. We need to show that it’s very important and we deserve to go to the next round.
“We know how [Leicester] play and they know us – how we play. Always now to try to find a solution, to try to play better and try to score goals and try to win the game: this is our challenge now.
“For me it’s very soon to start to guess if we can fight for the [EPL] title or not. The most important thing is to try to improve, win the games, and arrive in the last games – the last six, seven games – with the possibility to fight for that.”
