Earlier this week, the Spanish media have reported that the clubs reached an agreement on a 10 million compensation, and that Callejon in Napoli per year will be earning 3.5 million.
But now Napoli confirmed this transfer and officially :
“Early this morning, Jose Maria Callejon has landed in Naples. Tomorrow morning will undergo a medical examination.”
Callejon´s transfer personally wanted the new coach of Napoli, Rafa Benitez. Last season, in 30 appearances in the Spanish championship, mostly coming in from the bench, Callejon scored 3 goals.
