Tottenham are sweating over the fitness of Wales ace Gareth Bale, who has a hamstring problem which forced him out of his country’s midweek clash with Costa Rica.
Rafael van der Vaart missed Holland’s game with England through injury and he too is a doubt for the game.
Another concern is Kyle Walker, who like Van der Vaart has an ankle problem.
Sandro is set to replace Scott Parker in midfield as the new England captain is suspended following his sending off at Arsenal last week.
William Gallas and Tom Huddlestone remain sidelined.
United are boosted by the news that star striker Wayne Rooney is fit to return after two weeks on the sidelines with a throat infection.
Tom Cleverley is sidelined though, along with Antonio Valencia and Michael Owen.
